Last night was the second (hopefully) annual Mashlanta party held by Mashable and Regator. The event was a great chance to meet some new folks, and match some faces to Twitter handles. I was able to finally connect with some people I've communicated with for months online, and connect to some interesting local companies. I'm really excited for next year and highly recommend this event. If you only go to one geek/social/tech event in Atlanta, I'd say Mashlanta should make your short list.

The event itself was pretty great, with a full open bar and lots of tipple to choose from, but of course, all these events are about the after-party. In this case, it was a pretty low-key affair around the corner at Ormsby's. As before, I got to see some good old friends and make a few new ones.

Count me in for next year.
